I am living with Nuns!

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well! I am living with Nuns somewhere in the north of Mexico City. Emma and I were dropped off last night after a 4 hour bus journey. Our ICYE contact didn´t really know what was going on so we have had to use our survial skills. Being unsure of what part of the city we are in we have managed to purchase a mexican version of a bus pass, found Walmart (as we have to supply own dishes and food during our stay in the Convent), an american bookstore and a mobile phone charger (mine is broken and will not work) and of course we have found an internet cafe, yeah!! so all in all we have achieved alot.
At the moment it is raining so lets hope it stops before we go and get the metro. The weather here is just right although at times I have to wear my jumper as it gets a tad nippy. I would rather that then get too hot!!
We have viewed the flet we are moving into in a month and it is really nice. There has been a change of plan and now me and Emma will be sharing with two other girls and the boys are in a flat next door. We are all doing the same project which is good.
The next two weeks I will be doing language courses, thank god! then we will start working. Our working hours are 9-5pm monday to friday.
My first impressions of Mexico City are great! The people are friendly and it a colourful culture with a lot of party´s, suits me!! just need to learn spanish now as it is very difficult to communicate and is very frustrating at times.
