Hello amigos,
Im emailing from my temporary 1 night hostel where I am surrounded by youngins from all over the globe. It certainly doesnt compare to the apartment I left, but hey, one night...I leave for Bariloche tomorrow and apparently its snowing buckets! I am going to have to get off the plane and literally go to the nearest store to buy warmer clothing. Meanwhile itīs like 80 smoggy degrees in BA today. My only chore left to do today is to buy an alarm clock and pray that I can figure out how to set it correctly so I dont miss my cab tomorrow AM!! These are the things that stress me out- the little details.
I had such a great lunch earlier. When I go to a restaurant I never understand the menu so when the waiter comes I basically just pick something randomly and point to it. Luckily I am a pretty adventurous eater...Anyway, today I happened to pick this incredible pork dish that tasted like the best potroast ever. It was a nice surprise...Since Iīve arrived Iīve had a diet of almost 100% meat and cheese. I try to get a vegetable in here and there but it ainīt easy....
OK - off to fight the crowds and chaos of Florida street to get my alarm clock...
Before I go I want to give a shout out to my dear friend Darren who got married a couple of days ago. Congradulations!!Hereīs to Dazza heīs true blue......
Adios,
Meri
