Hello, finally! Sorry we haven't written sooner, but if you look at the photos you'll see that we have been rather busy! Bangkok, well that was certainly a different experience, although not entirely sure if we enjoyed it completly as it was a little too hectic for us! We didn't get too much stuff even though it was ridiculously cheap - you might have seen how full Gem's bag was when she left!! nevertheless we went to see some Buddahs, and some temples - the normal tourist bit, and it was beautiful - if not a little repetative! The weather really held us back though, it's not supposed to be raining here anymore but it seems there is some freak weather around-it was torrential, the roads flooded and everything, a little bit like magaluf. went to see the market, and a show in Patpong (pingpong) alley, and it was certainly an eyeopener. we met up with group alright, and everyone seems quite sound, so thats good. Just off to catch a 12 hour sleeper train to Surat Thani, where we catch a bus on to Khao Sok!
