Hi all, this is a quick entry as we're at Haat Rin (just got off the ferry from Ko Samui) so we need to make arrangements in order to get to where we're staying (possibly Than Sadet resort, but may be somewhere else).
Haat Rin doesn't look like what I originally expected (then again we've only just arrived) as it's probably about as busy as Ko Phi Phi.
You can guess that we both managed to get ourselves out of bed and got to the airport on time. As I had a bit of a gippy stomach, I decided to "Kong" a whopper at the airport (although Lucy ate probably about half of it too). Surprising to say, but it seems to have worked as my stomach is settled at the moment.
We took flight from Phuket on a rather small propeller based aircraft, but the flight went without any problems. Ko Samui airport is rather unique, a it's really just a couple of huts!
After ignoring a taxi driver's offer of 200B to take us to the Big Bhuddah pier, we paid 100B for a minibus and arrived at the pier for 11:30am. The boat left at about 1pm, so I managed to find a barbers to get a haircut, and also bought a snorkel and mask set for snorkelling.
We're hoping to get a motorbike today so we can make our way around the island and get used to the roads. Until then, it's sionara from the both of us.

Relax and enjoy !
Dearest fellow travellers,
the speed at which you are travelling and experiencing things takes my breath away.
Hope that you find that dream beach and can just take a few days out, relaxing and enjoying....
It is very cold here, snow has powdered the roofs of Brighton and me thinks London, too.
So enjoy being in flip flops, swimming, snorkelling, having a nice drink watching a sunset and walking barefoot on the beach under moonlight and maybe even have a nightly skinny dip diving through the phosphuresence (oops I probably spelt that completely wrong) ?
Try not to add up the figures for what you spent on everything as it is still SO much cheaper than in the UK.
Let it all go and Enjoy !
Love
DX
PS: BIG HUG TO LUCY. Cant wait to see you again XXXXXXX
