Well, today was my first day for Jolie and I to hang out and see a part of Hanoi called the "Old Quarter" and I took lots of pictures to share with you. The weather today was a little cloudy with a fine mist on and off and around 20 degrees celsius.
While walking around, there are alot of people trying to sell things like fruit and postcards to the tourists......of which I bought both......hehehe
We went around a lake in the center of the city and ate some Pho (very very good too!) and went shopping for groceries for when I go to the north tomorrow to meet her mom and then the rest of her family soon after. I can tell you this.........2 bags of groceries stuffed full of good food..........$28....:)...........and, I bought a "Team Vietnam" soccer jersey for $12 which would easily of cost $80 back home.
I think that Vietnam is a great place so far with many europeans here and very friendly people everywhere............I'm loving it!!
