I've liked the hotel and the owner and her sons are lovely, they have been so kind to us, but the place itself oh I dunno there's something I don't like about it. Must just be me, everyone else I've spoken with who has been here has liked it. I think that after Jaisalmer here seems dirty and smelly like Delhi.
Anyway we didn't have breakfast in the hotel this morning we went to the SHIVHAM again. Pancakes & coffee for me, scrambled eggs on toast for DK, he asked for 2 eggs so got to plates of food hee... 226Rps. As we were leaving I saw a small leaflet stuck on the wall and it was the place we are going to stay in when we get to Udaipur it looks nice so that made me happy. We saw our first elephant today walking down the street near our hotel. We sat on the roof reading and talking to the owner about the hotel she was asking us how to run it...

. I dunno but Id advertise on the internet... And so we left, I didnt think she was going to let us go hee - so now on to Udaipur.The flight from Jodhpur to Udaipur was only 40 minutes delayed; the airport was ok nothing eventful to report. Udaipur airport didnt look that hot but a new one is being built next to it. Luckily the driver was waiting for us to take us to our hotel ***PANORAMA GUEST HOUSE*** So far so good, the roads leading into Udaipur are wide and tarmaced it gives the impression of being in a med holiday resort.
As the roads didnt seems so bad we had high expectations of the rest of the place, and yep its ok the hotel is really nice. We have room with a balcony that looks onto the Ghats. The room is painted blue and white so again it has a med feeling to it. Went up to the roof to eat,had pakoras, pizza and ice-cream. DK had this monster dessert Hello to the Queen its called, looked awesome. We just sat chilling and then went up to the roof to watch Octopussy (its the law!) Sat on a day bed surrounded with loads of cushions bolsters and blankets Perfect!!!
