Heres hoping that today is better than the arrival we had last night...
The family who run the hotel we are staying at are really nice, we had toast jam and coffee for breakfast this morning which was nice. DK wanted eggs but they are Jain family so no animal products...
And no eating in the room in case of rats... (Their words not mine) but seeing as we up on the 3rd floor I cant see that happening... But they let us eat on a little table and chairs outside the room? Pretty funny seeing DKs face at that rat comment tho!
We walked up to the Fort and did the tour, it was very good so I recommend it and getting the head phones. From the Fort we sort of followed our noses and made our way into the town... . IT WAS AWFUL! Totally manic, not sure why i think this, in reality its no busier than Liverpool on a Saturday afternoon Christmas time...I think its because we have been spoiled by Jaisalmer
Why is it that all the street food smells so good! Dont know how brave I would to be eating some of it though!
We are going to try the SINGHVI HAVELI for food tonight if we can find it, its been recommended so might as well give it a go. Ended up going to YOGIs for dinner. It was ok; we had egg curry, mushroom curry, mixed veg, veg pilau, plain naan, garlic & onion paratha, tea and a lemon & honey... All for 260 Rps! Whoop...
Im sorry to say I cant wait to leave here, theres something about it that I cant put my finger on.
I just hope that tomorrow is better!

blue city
. After a while we went looking for somewhere to eat and ended up having pizza in this hotel, because it looked clean! Was ok actually. We came back to our hotel, found it easy enough,we made our way through lots of back streets it was pretty cool seeing people going about their business and now we are here sat on the roof reading and writing this, chillin out and not really thinking about anything in particular.Whilst it was peaceful it was never quiet, it seems more busy than anywhere we have been, and that includes the time we spent in Delhi last year. Oh there were some parrots sat on the roof which was not something I expected - how cool. Why is it that all the street food smells so good! Dont know how brave I would to be eating some of it though!
