Everybody stops for supplies then westward ho
Drove north to Katherine for a few supplies, Then west towards the WA border. We checked out Flora River Nature Reserve. 46km in on a dirt road and the camp ground was really dry and bare. However the falls were absolutely beautiful and well worth the drive. Lots of Pandanas and Tufa falls (Tufa falls are where the minerals in the water calcinate to form rocks, often right across the stream or making really inviting spa like structures) The water was crystal clear however sadly no swimming due snapping handbags in the area. We drove back out and continue to Gregory National Park at Sullivan's Camp Ground, which is more a roadside stop. It was generator city till 8.30pm when it went quiet. We had moved camp to get away from the noise and had a magnificent view over Livinstone Panadas and a small creek.
