"How much longer?"  Kyle thought it would be funny to ask that about ten minutes after leaving our house.  We all laughed and continued our drive, hoping to get past Nashville at a reasonable time.  We made it smoothly to the border of Tennessee, and we were still smiling as we stopped to take our picture at the Welcome Center sign.
Rob added Tennessee to the map on the RV and we were off again.
However, by mid-afternoon we were all asking the same question as Kyle had,  "How much longer?" By this time, we learned that RV air-conditioning does not do well when it is 108 degrees outside. Yes, by the time we reached Nashville it was 108 degrees!  After 9 and 1/2 hours of driving we were thrilled to finally pull into the campground and plug into electricity. We all let out a huge sigh of relief when we heard the AC kick on! Thank goodness we decided to skip the Walmart we were going to dry camp at tonight! Not more than 10 minutes after pulling in we were headed to the pool and once again we were able to laugh and have some fun. No campfire tonight though, as we will be soaking in as much AC as we can. Thankfully, tomorrow we only have a three hour drive to Memphis and our tour of Graceland.  I sure hope Elvis put central air in!
