Getting off the Cruise ship was as easy as it was getting on. The only issue we came across was that as non American citizens we had to meet the Immigration officers onboard the ship before disembarking and because the Immigration people in Blaine had not given us a new entry stamp in to the States, the officers were unsure of what date we had entered in to USA before our cruise and they needed to verify it before giving us a new stamp of entry. In short, they had to take our passports away and we had to trust that they would check things out and give our passports back when we disembarked. Luckily we did get our passports back, although we had a few little "escorted" detours at port in order to get it! We flew back to Vancouver via Dallas which was a nice little stop. We didn't leave the airport, but the airport was pretty big and nice in itself. Little did we know that in a weeks time Gavin would be back there for work!
