In the evening back on board the ship there was another New Orleans inspired show. It was really quite entertaining! Impressive singers, dancers, costumes and sets.
The Mahogany Bay port was so beautiful. There were rusted ship wrecks scattered along the harbour and a cute and beautifully designed shopping centre and chair lift that meets you as you get off the ship. In Honduras we took the last Cruise organised excursion. Again we picked a little Island to venture to. Maya Key was much bigger than the last (11 1/2 acres) and housed a variety of exotic animals at its animal sanctuary, including jaguars, nurse sharks, turtles and monkeys! We found the best snorkelling here and the food was delicious! We got a little too close for comfort to the nurse sharks. They had a lifesize replica of the Copan Ruins too which was cool to see, even if it wasn't the real thing!
