Yesterday morning I wandered around with Emma. There was nobody on the streets, so we went looking for people. There was a church service in an impressive church, so we went in and sat down. I didn't understand a word, but it was interesting. We did lots of kneeling and standing and sitting. I'm pretty sure that was to keep us awake lol.

Tithe came around, and then it was time to get up and go get some of those little biscuits. I'd never had one, so I was interested. I didn't want to get my stuff stolen, so I took my backpack with me right to the front of hte church. I wasn't off to a good start on the respect scale, as if I was going to get robbed in a church! Anyway...

We were all lining up and I picked the line with the pastor so I could get the real deal. I noticed he was putting it in people's mouths so I wanted that, rather than the other chick. I watched the people in front and went to copy. I was the last one in line...

The priest went to put the biscuit in my mouth, but then he hesitated. So I awkwardly went to grab it and put it in my mouth. He said something, so I replied 'uhh, I don't speak German.' he asked 'Are you a catholic?' I wanted the biscuit, and I'm not not catholic, so I said yes. He put the biscuit in my mouth and gave me an odd look. I headed back to my seat.

I explained what happened to Emma, and she was horrified. Apparently the biscuit represents god or something, and you're meant to say amen before you eat it. So I lied about being catholic, and then didn't say the right thing. Pretty sure I'm going to hell lol. How embarassing
