Aww Valentines Day. That day of the year when, statistically, 15% of women send themselves flowers. Cailin is going to fill this in later. Until then, here's some photos.
Valentines Day eh? Every card shop owners dream and single girls enemy! I suppose I should start from the very start................"When I was 17, it was a very good year, a very good year for small town girls and city lights..." Nah it was more like when I was 16 (Gary being older was 17) was single and Valentines Day was looming, you see in our school it was a big thing so the thought of getting nout on that fateful day was depressing so Gary stepped in and promised me a Valentines Card - I in return promised him one too - and there the bond was set - as friends we always swore to send each other a Valentines Card every year so that we always knew we'd be guaranteed at least one. 10 years on and we still uphold the tradition.
So I awoke on Valentines Day to a Valentines Card with the traditional message on the envelope and thought "Awww" - opened it up and noticed it was a very nice and expensive card this year compared to the smutty humour and 50p jobs of Valentines past - and thought "shit Gary has pushed the boat out this year...aawww" and then opened the card up to find a photo of Gary stuck inside BOLLOCK NAKED with his guitar hiding his modesty and that fecking hat. I peed myself laughing. It was a classic. So funny. And I noticed that there was a card for Sarah too - reckoned there must be a picture of Colm in hers (our other housemate) so was busting for her to open hers to get a squint - but alas no twas Mr Ireland again only this time with a more provocative stance and grin. Hilarious. Best Valentines gift ever. Tooshay L.S. I'll have to think long and hard to out-do that one. Pixie xxx
