The Officer never even gave me a chance to talk my way out of it (which of course I could've done because I'm an incredibly charming guy). It's $260 fine, and I don't know how I'm going to pay that considering I've been sleeping in my car and living on Twizlers. When he realised I was flying home on Tuesday he actually considered taking me to jail there and then because I was a flight risk. I convinced him I wanted to come back to America at some point in the future so I was definitely going to pay up and that seemed to placate him.
If I don't pay this fine a warrent is issued for my arrest, so if I'm ever stopped again then I'll be taken to jail immediately. It might even be the case if I try and get back into the country and my passport shows the warrent at immigration they could arrest me there too. I've got until March 10th to pay it, so if anyone reading this wants to send me a few bucks I won't refuse it. Aye, and if you could throw in a winning Lottery ticket I'd appreciate that too.
Anyway, I arrived back in Milwaukee Sunday night and surprised everyone. I got to see a few people on the Monday, and then left for Chicago and my flight home on the Tuesday. Milwaukee is also where the unthinkable happened... I parted ways with El Capitán. I left him with a friend for a few months. She's hopefully coming back to Ireland this summer, so this is an incentive for me to be here when she does. If she doesn't, then I guess I'll just have to come back to milwaukee and get him. :)
