The Metropolitan Museum is New Yorks number one tourist attraction, and it's not hard to see why.  I spent about 5 hours here and still only seen about a third of the building.  It's the museum in the Thomas Crown Affair, and I was considering stealing a priceless impressionist painting, and then playing a cat and mouse game with a sexy insurance investigator, only for her to fall in love with me and then eventually return the painting, but it closed at 5.

As I walked up through Central Park it started to snow.  It was honestly one of the most romantic things I've ever seen, and of course I was on my own at the time.  Thanks irony, you cold hearted bitch. Next museum on my stop was the MoMA, or Museum of Modern Art to all you non-artistic plebs.  Another excellent museum, but alas, once again I only got to see about half of it before closing time.  There was an excellent Van Gogh exhibition on which was very impressive, even though everytime I heard an American say "Van Go" I wanted to punch them.

The next morning it was the Museum of Natural History (the one featured in Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller) and it was also awesome.  None of the dinosaurs came to life which was kinda disappointing, but the Plane'arium was excellent.  All the measurements used during the show are actual distances based on the Hubble space telescope, and the graphics were incredible, zooming through the galaxy and watching comets smashing into the earth killing dinosaurs and generally fucking everything up.  Of course, all this is bollocks because the bible tells us the earth is 8 thousand years old and dinosaur bones were put there by God to 'test' us.

Fuck me.
