Rosa changed her bus ticket home so she could spend an extra day with me in Granada. I hadnīt planned on visiting this city on this trip, so itīs a nice surprise. :-)
Zach joined us, and the 3 of us arrived early afternoon. Granada is amazing. Itīs a university town, and there are 60,000 students here, so itīs got that really cool young hippy vibe to it. Granada is arguably the most Islamic city in Spain, and the back streets of the old town are straight out of Morocco. Walking though them amongst the stalls and shops selling Arabic clothing and Hooka tea-rooms, it really doesnīt feel like weīre in Spain anymore, more like the back streets of Marrakech. Of course this makes me want to cross over to Morocco even more now.
Later that night we stopped off in a hooka tea room and had some flavoured tobacco. Mixed fruit flavour incase you were wondering. :-)
