Rosa arrived arrived yesterday with her friend Sandra, and we started the whole tourist thing together.  Seville has the 3rd largest cathedral in the world and is the first place on any self-respecting tourists´ list.  After fighting your way through the gypsies outside cursing you for not buying their lucky heather and actually get inside the building, you realise just how big it actually is.  Notre Dame could fit into this place twice.  Probably. 

A nice surprise inside was finding Christopher Columbus´ tomb, which I didn´t know was here.  He died in Spain, but his body was moved to the Dominician Republic.  After they got independance from Spain, his remains were moved to Havana, and after Cuba gained its independance in the American-Spanish war, he was shipped back to Seville.  The Dominicans still claim his real body is over there, but the Spanish insist that really is him in the tomb.  They were so convinced in fact, that they had DNA tests done in 2003, and they reckon this conclusively proves their case, but the Dominicans are having none of it and argue the case to this day. The Spanish of course don´t give a shit what the dominicans think.

Later that night we went out for Tapas and a few beers.  There´s a cool American guy staying in the hostel from Colorado, so he´s been knocking about with us too.  If Zach was anymore laid back he´d be horizontal.
