KoyaSan- A night at a temple

I got out of the city and caught the train up into the mountains. It was nice to see lots of greenery again. Once I had arrived at Mount Koya, I booked up for a night at a buddhist temple. In the evening they served me a vegetarian banquet before I went out in the rain to look round the graveyard. (Incredibly atmospheric, especially as the rain meant I was there alone)
The next morning I had to get up early to attend morning prayers, followed by a veggie breakfast. I decided not to become a Buddhist monk and rushed off to the local cafe for coffee and toast.
