It is so wonderful to receive your comments about our blog. We're so happy to share with you, the fun we're having and the amazing places we're visiting.
We bid farewell to our Salzburg Hosts, Walter and Gouten, and returned to the City of Salzburg one last time to begin the next leg of our Adventure. Our Train trip from Salzburg to Vienna was wonderful. We traveled in excess of 230 km per hour. That is about 142 miles per hour for us Americans. Our Innkeeper met us at the Train and whisked us off to our Pension Vitis. We got organized a bit and then took the bus to the Center of the City of Vienna. We were able to take the last Oldtimer's Tour of the day on an oldtime bus. It was perfect to give us an overview of the City. We think we'll navigate ourselves from here on. We found a 6:00 Evening Mass at St. Stephan's Cathedral. It was, of course, in German, but beautiful nonetheless. We then made our way back uptown to our Pension where we discovered a Little Austrian Bierhaus where we had a great dinner.
Our love to all, Steve and Ginny
