Hello All,
I arrived in Greece safely 2 days ago. It is apparently the hottest week in Athens this year. It is 43 degrees Celsius....I think that is somewhere in the 90-100 degree range. In any case it is really hot. Dimitri (coworker from NY) set me up with his family. I have been staying with them this week. It is very helpful to have someone who knows the language and their way around. So far I have visited the Acropolis/Parthenon and some of the surrounding sites. I would tell you what they are but I can't pronounce or spell them:) The archaeological museum was pretty cool too. Yesterday, it was so hot that I gave up on sight seeing and went to the beach with Maria (Dimitri's sister in law). It was a really nice day to be in the water. Tomorrow I will visit the ancient Olympic stadium. Then I am off the the islands for a little relaxation.
Hope everyone is well, Danielle PS....I forgot the cable to upload pictures but I will add them on my next post. More thumbnails ...

Ad us to your blast list. More info than personal e-mails. We found out more info from everyone else, although we'll accept both. Did you read the one from Rhett about contacting you credit card company. That's a great idea. Don't want them to shut down your card. Natalie got off on time so we'll see her soon. See you in two weeks. Have fun! Say 'Hi' to Demitrie and family and thanks to his brothe... show all
