Yo Dudes and Dudesses. So from Kalamata I went over Pyrgos to Olympia. While I was waiting for my bus in Pyrgos, I ran into the spanish guy I had met in Nafplio again. I dont remember how much I told you guys about him before, but hes a professional fotographer from barcelona going around greece to take pics of all the ruins. Anyways, he was on his way to Olympia too, so we hung out there. Olympia was awesome. The town is quite cute, although very touristy and you wouldnt wanna spend more than a couple hours there (its also tiny.). Yesterday we went to the ruins at about 9. We were there until about 12, when it started getting cloudy and then started pouring rain like crazy. So we went into the museum for a couple hours to wait out the rain. Then in the afternoon it was sunny again so we went back to the ruins to finish them off. We spent about 9 hours in the ruins and museum which was a ton, but it was cool cause i've been learning a lot about fotography and the ruins of course were amazing. My passport was supposed to arrive that day as well, but it didnt... then this morning I waited until about 12, and it still didnt show. So finally I got the tracking number and everything from Sven (after waking his parents.... but it was 8:45 in Germany on a thursday, and I thought they'd be at work....) and phoned the DHL in Athens, who said it should be around Pyrgos (30km form Olympia). So i phoned there and finally found it and managed to arrange to pick it up there. AND NOW I HAVE IT :D But apparently they tried to deliver it to my hostel, but even though I asked the people who ran the place like 5 times a day whether it came, they apparently didnt accept it when it did come.... that pissed me off... but now I have it so its all good. Anyways, now I'm on my way to Corfu (just waiting for the ferry in Patras) for a little R 'n R on the beach, and to look around the island. The spanish dude is going there for a couple days too, so it should be fun. Anyways, thats about all for now. The next time I write I'll prolly be in Venice :D Cheers Gabe
