Hey guys. I am doing well, other than the fact that I lost my passport.... After the last blog, I ended up going out for dinner again with Mike and Daphne. The food that night was absolutely spectacular. We had everything from zuchini balls, to rooster in wine sauce, to baklava (a desert), and a whole bunch of other stuff. The next day I had planned a day trip to the Island of Aegina. But i only made it to Piraeus (the port), because when i got off the metro it was pouring rain. So instead I met up with Mike and Daphne at the Archeological museum. After that we went to some crazy expensive designer shopping centre to do a little shopping (well they did. That wasnt in my budger lol :D), but Daphne didnt really want to shop so it ended up being a quich excursion through the place. Then we went back to the Hilton via the National Gardens, and hung out there to rest the feet for a while before dinner. Thank god it cleared up in the evening and we were able to eat outside again. And again the food was exceptional. The next day (yesterday) I traveled to Corinth, to see the ancient ruins and the Acro Corinth, which is a castle on a rock/mountain about 300 vertical metres above the city. The view was wicked up there and the ruins werent bad either. Then I went to Nafplio where I will be staying for the next few days. From Nafplio today I visited Epidauros ( huge theatre and ruins) and then the Palamidi Fortress right above Nafplio, which also has wicked views and a more intact castle then at Acro Corinth. Then I went to the pebble beach here for a swim. Now i'm gonna head out for dinner and get ready to pay the police another visit tommorow morning about my passport! Hope yall are doing well. I here the weather has improved! Cheers Gabe
