I'm currently updating this log from a room reminiscent of the student center computer help center at MIT- where personal hygiene was a very low priority, to say it nicely. At least this place closes so I think some of the clientele is forced to shower. Anyway....
I left Melbourne in the afternoon headed west aiming for the Great Ocean Road, which I heard was similar to the route 1 coastal drive in California. It was very beautiful but it soon became dark- but I pressed on since I wanted to get to a sight called the Twelve Apostles for dawn. Well I woke up a bit late, but it was cloudy anyway- headed west and was still able to beat the clouds (and the crowds of tour buses), and was present when the sun decided to emerge in all its glory from the cloud cover. Words cannot describe the beauty of this coastline so I will let some of the 150+ photos I took do it for me...
