Well, after a long, tedious and stressful journey with another 8 hour stop-over in Delhi, I've finally made it to country number 2: Thailand. Sadly the can't be said for my backpack which has gone AWOL somewhere between Kathmandu, Delhi and here. Good old Indian efficiency! Needless to say the Indian Airlines staff has inspired me with zero confidence of it turning up any time soon...

Feeling somewhat at a loss what to do now as this has totally scuppered my plan to be in and out of Bangkok in one day and out to the peace and quiet of the countryside, not to mention the fact that everything I own is in that bag! I have only the (now somewhat sweaty) clothes on my back, my wallet, my passport and my camera. I guess the Kho San Road traders will be making a few pennies this afternoon as I'll have to go in search of a few bare essentials to tide me through the next few days (keeping everything crossed that that's all it will take to reunite me with my bag!!).
