The coromandel trip was a flop. It rained the rest of the weekend. Monday I got in my car and started driving back down to Tauranga. The rain kept me from doing most of what I wanted to do. I guess it's not too bad, I saw some trees, some more waterfalls (yawn, hey! Look! Water!). I have become apathetic to the waterfalls. They are now my nemesis. Not really, I still drive out of my way to see them, but there are so many of them that I've grown sedate to their effects. I will be back soon on the Kiwi Experience bus.

Got back and found out Justin didn't need me to help him move any more. I offered to help him move up anyway.

I stayed at Sarina's last night and slept out on the porch. She has a bed out there and I thought it would be a good idea since it's gotten pretty warm out (hot, rainy, and humid) 1 - Siamese Kauri Trees

. I didn't listen to Justin when he warned me about bugs; I'm from Canada, I don't need to worry about bugs, you guys are all pussies. I look like I have Chicken Pox now. That's probably not how you spell it is it? Either way, the little buggers bit me all over my back, arms and face. It itches. Ooooooo, it itches. And the bug bites are bugging me too...

I got the heater knob for my car. It was close, but I got it. I checked every wreckers, and they all laughed at me, then I found the "pick-a-part". These things are basically a big yard with broken up cars sitting on rims. People go up, pull out the part they want, using their own tools, and pay for the part. It's faster and cheaper than your standard wreckers, but the cars are usually beat up pretty bad (if you know someone who doesn't wear their seatbelt, take them to a "pick-a-part" and show them the head-shaped holes in the windscreens). I went to the Honda section, and checked every car. Car after car, the heater knobs were all missing. Luckily, I found one at the very end. It's not a perfect aesthetic match, but it'll do.

One last swim then I'm on the road. Next time I'm in town, I'll be a true backpacker.
