Things are starting to look better in the Mount. The sun has decided to show, and apparently the wet season is over.
It is still quiet most of the time, but I enjoy sitting in a quiet cafe, or wandering around places lacking people.
I went out with on of my flatmates and a mate of his last night. Got to see some of the Mount's nightlife, which is not too bad. For the first time in weeks I drank too much.
Last weekend was a little on the quiet side. I did go for a bit of a drive, but I did not find where all the women are hiding. I did find a waterfall though. I have to admit, I like the way the Kiwis do parks.
Being a Canadian around Kiwis is good. Being from Canada (or Canadia) is novel to most, but then you can talk about the similarities between the two countries. So many things are labelled Canadian here, all with a sort of pride (on behalf of the thing) and approval of the Kiwi's; Whistler, the Barenaked Ladies, maple syrup. Wow, I sound terribly cheesy.
