Bought some professional clothing today. Searching around I found some interesting places. Auckland has some nice little nooks and crannies. You just have to be willing to get off the beaten path.
I found a place that sells reasonably-priced stuff and picked out a good pair of wool pants that were on sale for a little over a hundred dollars and asked to have them fitted. I was in the change room when it first hit me; the scent of something rotting. No, not rotting; sour. It couldn't be me; my shirt was OK, my body was lean. Then I picked up my shoe. The guy that was to fit me walked in at that moment. It became clear to me that my shoes didn't breath as well as I had hoped. The guy who was fitting me was putting needles in my cuffs. He coughed. Apparently he could breath just fine until then...
