It was 10:35. I had been stood up. We had agreet to meet at 10:00 this morning. I had waited until 10:30 because I wasn't completely sure that it was 10:00 as opposed to 10:30 (I had been drinking, after all). After being screwed around by the hostel people who wound up making me move hostels, and left me "homeless" for several hours, I was in a bad mood. This made it worse.
She burst through the door as I was leaving.
"I'm so sorry. I owe you big".
"Yes, yes you do".
We spent half the day getting lost, first on the busses, then by foot when I pointed us in the wrong direction; "I'm sure it's that way. See that point?".
We spent the whole day wandering Auckland. We saw stingrays, the ghetto (oops, I think we missed our stop), the University, and quickly, the Museum.
After dinner, we traded emails and went our separate ways. I haven't been here for even a week and I've said goodbye to so many people.
