Luciano Pavarotti is dead.
The beginning of the next chapter of my life started this morning sometime as I passed the date-line and September 6th, 2007 vanished from my life forever. Kind of a solemn start to a trip huh?
The plane ride went well. Air New Zealand is a great carrier to fly with. Decent food, great staff, and all the free bootlegged movies and shows you can watch.
The flight was about 13 hours long. I had a window seat, and the middle seat was empty. The aisle seat was occupied by a man who graduated from the U of A Engineering program, Small world. I picked up his email address.
After getting off the plane, I took my time going through customs, making sure to declare my fuzzy hat
The hostel doesn't allow check-ins untill 1300, so I stored my backpack and found where my orientation was to be.
About this time I started to realize how tired I actually was. The world has been spinning for several hours now and I feel like a zombie. The McDonalds hasn't helped any, so I know it's not food deprivation. I think I'll find some water and try for a quick nap.
It's been about 30 hours since I've slept.

. The New Zealand officials are so nice to deal with, especially after dealing with the Americans'.The hostel doesn't allow check-ins untill 1300, so I stored my backpack and found where my orientation was to be.
