Set off to the airport way too early but better than having to run for my plane again. Laughed at the army guys at the airport who were having to scan everyone with a metal detector (except they didn't scan me - I must look trustworthy...with my fake Prada bag..ahem). It was kind of pointless though cos they scanned people, it beeped, and the just let them go. Ok.
Resisted the urge to buy a swanky new digital camera for which I deserve a medal. Just as well though as it turns out they're actually cheaper in the UK.
Boarded the plane feeling very depressed at the prospect of a 12 hour journey in the day time and the thought that Nat was still in Koh Tao on a beach with Chewy and Cheeky and a mango shake.
A couple of hours into the flight some idiot started smoking in the toilets and the captain threatened to stop the flight in Delhi if they did it again. So a couple of hours later there's another announcement saying they've been smoking again and they'll be arrested at Heathrow. So they continue to do it another few times which ended up in the toilets being locked so no one could use them. Luckily I have a strong bladder!
So we landed at Heathrow and he got arrested (thankfully I don't work for the Met cos I looked a mess).
So lucky me, back at home and freezing cold.
But not for long...
I'm off again in October to Oz, NZ then back to Thailand. I have no idea how long for. At least a year but probably longer. Depends on what job I can get in Thailand.
So make the most of me in the next 5 months in case I don't come back!! Oh and in the mean time don't let me buy any clothes!
