Just before we start telling you about our journey, a little thought for all the people in Europe who didn't manage to get seats...
14h15: meeting at Central station, Caro, Lydane, Annia, Bernadette and Agnes. Gabor and Peter will join us later.
15h30: arrival at the Olympic Park (after a little nap in the train). We are quite surprised, so far so good, not too many people. We wait for Agnes's friend.
16h00: let's start to queue. The doors are supposed to open at 17h30. At this point everybody's relax, seating on the floor, drinking and eating but you can start to feel the excitement. In the queue, we meet Susanna and the Swedish girl we used to live with, what a small world! Gabor also joins us with his Brazilian friend and Peter is on the way. Now it's the 11 of us getting ready for the concert...
17h45: the doors open, let's run!!! We arrive inside the stadium, it's empty. We were actually nearly at the beginning of the queue. We find our spot for the concert, we are so close to the stage... great!!! Now waiting time...
19h30: the first part starts. Ah yeah we forgot to tell you that Kanye West is doing it! Surprisingly, nobody seems to really know him, it's weird. The stadium is still half empty.
20h45: the concert starts!!! We are so close to the stage, when Bono comes to our side, he's only 5 meters far from us. The stage didn't look that great when we first arrived in the stadium but the sound and the lights are just amazing. Everybody's jumping and singing. We take a quick look at the back of the stadium, now it's full, 80,000 people, we are right at the front, it's scary!
Here comes Sunday Bloody Sunday, Caro verse sa petite larme...
The concert goes so quickly, we want more!!!
Three times they come back for more songs, we can't get enough! Amazing performance for With or Without You...
23h00: end of the concert, we are nearly the last ones to leave the stadium, we can't believe it's over yet but at least we've got our memories now. It was just unique, something you got to see once in your life.
