We had a good night sleep and had a continental breakfast at the hotel. (We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay near LA airport!!! Oh I love that I can say that!)
We got to the airport early, once again unsure how long the shuttle from the hotel and security etc would take and it gave us time to chill. I read, and people watched, while Jeff played with the Mac. (Big surprise). The flight was a little bumpy but otherwise uneventful.

Caron and Hannah picked us up from the airport and it was just lovely to see them both. After a stop to Home Depot, like our Bunnings, (yes Bruce, we know you are proud) we headed back to their place and Mike followed shortly after.
It's so nice just to spend time with them in their home. Hannah is just beautiful. (No bias here). I got lots of Hannah cuddles tonight as we just hung around at home.
And surprise, surprise, it's hot here. It was about 33C/93F here today. Quite nice actually. Caron and Mike have a pool in their complex and they are right on the
mariner. Its making it feel like a real holiday. We are just loving being here already, experiencing "Texas life, Blanch style."

Tomorrow night we are all off to the baseball, a birthday gift for both
Jeff and I, otherwise we have no other fixed plans as yet.
Looking forward to more Caron & 'Hannah time,' as Jeff calls it, while Mike's at work and waking up in one place and not having to fly anywhere..
If you are reading we would love to know. Either join and comment, or email us.
Kel, anymore wedding plans yet?
Helen, how's Hawaii?

We're sure you'll enjoy the baseball & all your "Hannah" time.
Just spoke with Granma Hollis & she sends her love & hopes you have a great time.

Yes, we are truely blessed. I didn't think we really got jet-lagged as we seemed to sleep in 'normal time' for where we have been quite easily, but it's now 4:30am Houston time and Jeff woke me because he couldn't sleep and now I'm up reading emails and the blog. So...?!?! who knows.
Though Mike's just left for work and Jeff's slept more than 4 hours, so it probably is just normal for him... me on the other hand might read some more and go back to sleep, as we'll probably have a late night tonight at the baseball.
Thanks for your comments. It's nice knowing what everyone's up to.

Hi guys you will settle in and sleep better tomorrow night. How good is Hannah time she is perfect and that's a quote from an expert, the Pediatrician. Home depot is a must, good on you son. Do they still have an Aussie accent from when I was there five weeks ago. You will love the Baseball. Speak with you soon. what time does the baseball start and finish. Love Dad.
PS its good to hang out with Caron and Mike when Hannah is asleep. Give Umi a kiss although he will probably kiss you in the morning, he will definitely be camped outside your door.
