We had a quiet day, spending time at and in the pool and catching up with emails. Again the weather was beautiful. I usually say that at some time during the day it rains in Singapore, but so far we haven't seen any rain, or had any of the amazing thunderstorms we usually get.
Lisa and Graeme took us out to dinner, to celebrate Peter's70th (May) and our 45 wedding anniversary. We went to il Lido at Sentosa Golf Club. what a beautiful place. We had a table outside, and found it hard to believe that anybody would want to sit inside on such a beautiful night. Lots of ships lit up in the bay.
We had a wonderful meal, starting with a mixture of Antipasto, for a main I had veal chops with mushrooms, Peter had a steak, cooked to perfection, Graeme had fish with ink squid sauce and Lisa Ravioli. for drinks we had an Australian Shiraz and New Zealand Cloudy Bay Chardonnay. Not only was the food wonderful, we had amazing service too, something I gather you don't always get in Singapore.
