Scott then checked out the Federal Reserve, while I guarded the car, to see if the printing presses are still running. He came back with a couple of brats from Biker Jim's Dog's. Lonely Planet tantalized us with the following: "Biker Jim's passion for Harleys is only outpaced by his visionary zeal for encased meats at his beloved hot dog stand."
Scott reported that Jim was showing quite of bit of flesh, all of it festooned with technicolor tattoo artwork
Scott selected an Alaska Reindeer brat and brought me back a Yak with red wine and pepper. Both dogs were smothered with carmelized onions. I've had reindeer before but this was my first taste of yak. No, not yuk, yak...according to Wikipedia it's a "long-haired bovine found throughout the Himalayan region of south Central Asia, the Tibetan Plateau and as far north as Mongolia and Russia".
Tomorrow, we take our first train ride. Actually Scott rides the Silver Plume and Georgetown train will I drive to the other end. Also hike the Hanging Lake Trail - should be fun!
