The Barrier Reef is 2000km long and is really respected by everyone. Dad went diving so me Mum and Harvey went on a reef trip. I swam with a Mouri Wrasse it was as big as me. I touched it and it felt a bit slimy, he was called Wally. It scared me when he flicked his tail at me! A diving photographer picked up a sea cucumber and put it my hand and took a picture with a huge waterproof camera. The sea cucumber felt slimy and it sucked my hand it was about 30cm long and 10cm wide. We saw some Barracuda, a shark I think it was a white tipped one. I snorkeled all over the reef it was really pretty and the fish were really colourful. It was really fantastic.
Hi Jordan. This Barrier Reefsounds fantastic. You are so lucky to have been swimming with all those wonderful creatures..The wrasse sounds very large but gentle. Keep away from those sharks kid!
