Finally, a great sail!

We couldn't wait to leave our little mozzie haven as none of us slept too well. We decided to go back into harbour & the Mermaid Bar for the night but would take our time sailing there and sunbaking as we went along. We started off sailing on the western side of Vaka'eitu and had a nice breeze of 15 knots. As we reached Luamoko & Matahunga it was time to throw in tacks. The girls did some topless sunbaking on deck and I acted like Kay Cottee doing the single handed sailing back in the cockpit and loved it.
As we made our way back, we started to be surrounded by whiteouts, strong winds and rain. As we approached Kitu we were struck by the rain squall we could see coming, so were quite prepared for the 25knots + that came through. The only bummer was the wine spillage and the lack of sun for tanning! The sail were dropped, the motor turned on and we were back in harbour in no time.
Caught up with Mike and went to the Compass Rose for many drinks and were met by the guys from Mounu and headed off to the Mermaid Bar where it was all happening. The Tongan Rugby Boys were there (great visual feast for the chicks) and mostly they took a shine to Rana's large chest....There were some stunning guys there. We planned on the Dancing Rooster for Dinner but got roped into a Tongan Feast instead. However, by the time we joined it mostly all that was left was Yams, chips & Tin Cow would you believe! We drank the bar dry of Vodka & Juice & went onto the Barcardi. By the end of the night, everyone was pretty much smashed and talking shit - if able to talk at all. The bar closed, so it was back to Sirocco with a few of the die hards - Matt, Mike & Mark and tapped into the rum, vodka etc..
