Few happenings to report.
Our fridge broke and we had to get them to give us a new one today. It was all short-circuty.
Took the bus out to Carrefour today, which is a shopping centre about half and hour out of town.
Totally worth it. I didn't need much in the way of food, as I still have STACKS (will probably not need to go food until I get home frm Taizé - whoo!). But I did buy a few essentials: chocolate, eggs, milk, yougurt, a Capitain Jack Sparrow air freshener, a thurmos and .... a little something for my brithday...
Yes, that would be "Orgueil & Préjugés" (Pride and Prejudice) and "Reviens-Moi" (Atonement) dvds - IN FRENCH
I have class in an hour. Don't much feel like it. It's all overcast and I would much prefer to eat chocolate and watch my new French DVDs on my comfy bed beside a quiet fridge (no more "thu-thunk-thunk-thud...brrrrr"!), smelling my Pirates of the Carabbean-scented air. Oh, how lovely does that picture sound...
Ahh well, I have my "Introduction to French Literature" class (which is replacing the Friday afternoon class fo me - yay!)
So, me =
Monday: 1:30-3:30 Littérature Francaise
5-7 C.U.F.L.E. (i.e. French language learning for exchange students)
Tuesday: 8-10 TECEF (Techniques of Written French and Expression) (NOT EVERY WEEK)
10-12 Littérature Comparée (NOT EVERY WEEK)
5-7 Introduction to French Littérature
Wednesday
Nothing.
Thursday 9-11 Littérature Comparée
2-4 CUFLE
Friday 9-11 Littérature Francaise
Yay!
Well, everyone, that's me for the day.
Enjoy yourselves, and I'll go and et ready for uni!

It's Capt'n Jack Sparrow... Savvy?
. They are Region 2, but I am trusting my little laptop can sort it out. (Rach, when you get over here, it's you, me and a movie night, got it?)I have class in an hour. Don't much feel like it. No more DVD Difficulties!!
Ah mon petite soeur,
We thinks we may haves ein solution to yons DVD regioning vicissitudes. It be 'DVD Region Free' programables installable softablewares..... umm thingy!
Yous may be checkin it outs at www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm
Please to be checkin your email for special deliveries from yon votre frère moyen in a alternate future in which he attalatches (attaches even) said '..... umm thingy'
No longer shall thine petite individu have to perhaps irrevocably alter ones computer DVD player's reg-aeon again!!!!
Celebrations should be held at such momentous informings!
(believe me I've been through all this stuff with one of my past computers. You don't want to have to get into potential DVD drive destroying Firmware upgrades like I did. Fun, fun, fun!)
Aime beaucoup... well.. de moi!
gotya!
Aye, aye capt'in!
Movie night, definatly! I'm all up for that!!!!
And what could be better, pray tell, than a PIRATES AIR FRESHENER! Haha...bit of a contradiction through...the catch phrase should be 'smell like a pirate, and everyone will want you on the high seas!' - you need to put an 'ocean breeze' one beside it to keep Jack happy ;)
Oh dear. Clearly, my sense of humour has NOT improved with old age...
Sounds like a good week!
All my love
