I hereby declare myself amazed.  I made it into the middle french class (of 3), along with Meredith and Amy.  Meredith is an extension French student, an Amy is an honours French student, and they are both much better than I am, and it is quite obvious, especially with Meredith. I really thought I would be in the easier class.  But there you go, I guess! I hope I can hold my own in that class.  It's a little scary to think I am in the same class as Meredith and Amy.

So, my french classes are scheduled for Thursday 2-4pm, and Friday 5-7pm.  Fun fun! (I hope).

I will find out the times for my other classes (Litterature français; Litterature generale et comparée) next week.  So, for this week, it's just the french for me.

Pintadeaux
Heeey!

Congrats! I'm taking Intermediate Conversation French which is great but a stretch sometimes! We're reading a book at the moment, by Georges Simenon. It's a crime novel, quite fascinating. Going to ma classe ce soir, so more crime novel, yay!

Do you know the word 'les pantoufles'? It's 'slippers'. And also, 'pintadeaux' is 'guineafowl', just in case you needed to know that.

Ben sends his love, and hopes you are having an awesometacular time, as do we all.

Love, Srah (and Ben!)

Re: Pintadeaux
I could not count amount of times I have needed to say the word guineafowl here. If I had known that, maybe I could have even made the top class. =P

I am reading at the moment, besides Fascination (Twilight) Albert Camus''L'etranger', which is actually the easier of le deux.

Re: bonjour!
Wow! Only 2 weeks left? Very scary indeed!

I miss you too! Hope you don't feel too deserted with all the math...

Of course you want to be in France. France wins.

Pale Blue Dot
Just to let you know that i have finished the film and submitted to our newcastle festival compitition for judging this weekend. Fingers crossed.
You will know Sarah Beecroft. She did the voice over.
Thank you for a great script. Will argue with you over the position of one comma!! Eats shoots and leaves stuff.

David has a copy... I hope he send it to you.

Re: Pale Blue Dot
Fabulous! Would love to see hear about your opinion regarding the comma. Wonder if I will want to defend its position, or pretend that I didn't write that? =P
