Well hello there!
Here I am in lovely England.  Staines, to be exact; 'Staines' as in the old english word for 'Stones', not as in 'stains'.  I am stuaying with my cousin, Debbie, and her chappy Rob (who is just the loveliest guy).  Their internet is down at the moment, so I haven't had a chance to say hi yet!
The time here is 9 hours behind home, so it is 2:45pm here, and at 3:30 we are heading down to Arundel Castle for a concert to see The Levellers, whom I am told are a quintessetial English band.  We're staying there overnight, with a friend of Deb's before spending tomorrow enjoying beautiful Brighton.
I have spent the last two days doing London, which has been an absolute blast!  We saw a play ('The Woman in Black'), went to Camden Markets, walked to Oxford Street and Regent Street, Picadilly Circus and caught the tube to Leicester Square (monopoly, anyone?).  We went to St Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern and crossed the Millenium Bridge.  Had a squiz at Shakespeare's Globe, shopped at Convent Gardens and took photos of people being statues along embankment.  I also tried a Cornish Pasty - oh, yums!
It's all really excellently full on.  I love it so much!  Everything is so beautiful over here.  Debs says "this is a pretty plain part of London", but I'm too busy saying "wow!" to hear her.  And she lives right by the Thames...  such a beautiful walk along the river....  wow.
May not have the internet again until France, so I'll update you and post some picture then. Bird man

Keep well and keep in touch!  Thanks to all who posted comments - makes me feel very loved ^_^

Re: mto my gurls
Oh, you girls! How I miss you all. But I mut say, I would much prefer you to come here to see me than for me to go home. I have been thinking about Fred, actually, but haven't found him yet. he may already be in France.

As soon as I get home, out comes the monopoly. The really old version with pounds. And I can work out the exchange rate for you. I mean, bond street for £300 may seem fair enough, but would you buy it for $670? =P

I love you all. Mind me a seat, ok? I'll be back really soon.

And I took turns writing this message with myself.

And aww, my boy, all bedraggled because he misses me too much to be bothered looking after himself. I mean - who has he got to keep himself looking good for now? (Actually, I like my man a little hairy, so thanks for telling me that =P).

Love you much!

Londonerrific!
Dear Gem:

Aaaaaaaaah I miss you and I wish I was totally with you, although I'd probably slow you down but oh golly London, girl you are sooooo lucky! I mean, I know you've sort of made your own luck, but oh golly. I'm blabbering. I wish I was in London, rather than here, doing assignments.

Miss yr face x1000000, and I'm sure Ben would pass on greetings too if he knew I was writing.

Love Srah
