I am now officially tri-currency, with a vast array of papery notes stashed safely away (thank you Mr. Bank). Today I bought all the euro and pound currency available at my Commonwealth bank branch, as well as a couple of travelex cards from the post office.
It made me think, though: when you bring back money from other countries as a souvenir . . . Just spend the money and come back and buy some from the bank. It's like a shop, but for money.
Australian money is so bright compared with euros and pounds! But, ahh, being Europe, they won't be outdone. The euro is by far the classiest of the lot. (But ours smells the most satistying).
