A quick coach ride through the beautiful Wurzburg then picturesque villages along romantic road to Rothenburg and very impressive wind & solar farms. Our guide William was very knowledgable and quite a character. We walked the city as a group learning its history and landmarks, tried a snowball which is a ball pastry covered in powdered sugar or chocolate and also tried bratwurst sausage roll with mustard & sourkraut. Lots of walking soaking in the historic town defensive walls & its vistas. The beautiful baroque buildings.
We stopped for lunch, Goulash With Rye bread. Followed by exploring the stores. We both loved the Christmas store! The biggest in EU!
I scored a Germanic cardigan and look similar to the dashing lead in A Sound of Music! Hahaha Chris a stunning stein....
Now it's time for a nanna nap! I am sacrificing the ice cream party on board so I can enjoy our 7 course Italian meal tonight!
We are having an absolutely marvelous time! Meeting some lovely people, one British couple especially who are a delight! All on board have been lovely and only one overtly negative complaining passenger so I just keep away from her! lol
