Well, Nae, the rain continues to poor in Charlotte!  It is scheduled to rain every day this week.  Not a great time to ride my Iron Steed.  So, I'm sticking around the general area and seeing what The Great Mystery will do.  So far, I haven't been disappointed!

Due to all the rain, the ants are attacking anything above water level.  My sister Lynn has a beautiful old Charlotte home with huge trees surrounding the area..   When I say huge, I mean HUGE trees!  Her basement is filling with water because the exit pump can't keep up.  So, I'm in the midst of an ant war!  Went to Home Depot and secured my weapons of mass destruction.  I started out with a "shock and Awe" program surrounding the place with their great product called Home Defense.  It has NO scent and I was able to secure the battle zone parameters.  The last time I saw them, they were carrying away their dead and wounded.  I think the battle was won; however, the war may be continuing when I return to Charlotte!  We were forced to leave due to all the poisons.  I went to my Brother-in-laws home and Lynn left for Greg her sweethearts home.  We'll return to Mop Up the mess in several days.

Meanwhile, I returned to Max's in Great Falls for a most wonderful reunion.  Since my last visit and encouragement for her to renew the relationship with her brother Ron, they have rebuilt family ties.  Everyone is most happy for this.  The experience has been worth my ENTIRE TRIP across this great country to be used in this manner.  I believe that forgiveness is the most powerful force in the universe.  After all, what would love be without forgiveness?  What is Love? Just another form of acceptance and forgiveness the highest form of accepting those around us. God has well proved that point.  It is the very reason we are warned that if we decide not to move in forgiveness, then HE will not, in turn, move with forgiveness in our own lives.  I suppose that could be the most powerful statement God has delivered toward our own actions.

My first trip was to Walter and Barb's home outside Charlotte.  Walt and I have always maintained a good relationship.  That is until I tossed a watermelon at him and broke his nose.  That was many years ago and I think he has ALMOST forgiven me for that.
Barb is one fantastic lady.  I am sure there were many men saddened when Walt bagged her!  :-)   They lovingly opened their home again to my visit and one of their two dogs decided I was OK when he slept all night with me.  He even protected me from the outside thunder by barking it away.  I felt safe and protected!  My visit was surrounded with sweet moments of love and appreciation.

My other delight came in meeting Max's brother and sis-in-law.  Ron and Helen Leigh live in a glorious spot next to Mountain Island Lake.  It is part of the Catawba River system.  This area is the origin of Charlotte's water supply.  Ron took me on a tour of their home that meandered by steps and dock down to the lake.  There were huge rocks in the hillside that were integrated into their house design.  Too much to describe here!  We had (upon our request) a light shrimp salad that was too tasty for words. (Makes my stoumach moan for more just thinking about it)   We drank wine and spoke of the blessings of life.  Ron sang a song that he composed for his lovely bride.  It was named "50 years And Counting-Sill in love"  I then felt the challenge and sang "Little Bird".  Think I may have shared it with you?  If not, let me know.
It was a very satisfying night with lovely moments.  Renewal mixed with forgiveness is like decorating a Christmas Tree. Hanging the lights with strand's of silver icing turns to actions of sheer delight.  We tossed a perfect amount of stars, angel's, animals, and sparkles.  New life gives birth to more new life.  Always.  Generating never ending blessings that spread to other boundaries of those involved in releasing the blessed force of forgiveness.  Goodness contaminates our surroundings as the testimony moves through our lives like a fine tapestry.  Think I'll stay away from all those chemicals one more day and then, Who knows?  He does.  :-)

My love to yours,
