A curtain of rain was my greeting view when I woke up. I quickly dressed up, and biked in the rain to a diner for breakfast. I mustered my motivation while eating my bacon and eggs and drank cheap coffee. I then jumped in the rain and moved on. It always look worse (view from the inside of a nice, warm and dry place) than it is. Yes, you get wet but the exercise warms you up very quickly and you come to hardly notice to rain after a while. The road was hillier than I had wished yet the extra effort needed kept me warm. The day was pretty much uneventful and by 3:00pm I was already in Fort Bragg, 130km from my starting point. I sat at the Starbucks for my free wifi and right away I encountered a french-canadian couple. We chatted for a while then I spent the night with them at the campground where they had their RV parked.
