Entry 5 of 7 | show all | print this entry

Arrived to Tokyo at about 5 am from the Nagasaki trip. I am feeling exhausted right now cause I went out all day. My roommate(Brandon) apperantly got shot while I was gone. I wonder why. Well anyways at noon a new roommate checked in it is some Japanese mafia member, think his name is Kenjo' Suzuki'. He looks very serious and doesn't talk at all. I won't mess with him though, he can beat me up. With over 7,000 dollars left to spend I went to an extremely fancy restaurant in downtown known as Tokyo's Cajun Grill with extremely fancy clothes. A white suite with interior panda fur, some white pants, and crocodile leather shoes. They served Japanese style chicken. The food was expensive yet tasted horrible, well at least I was fancy. I visited 1 historical site. The historic site I visited is known as the Tokyo Japan Temple.

Tokyo Japan Temple

This place was the first temple ever built in Asia. On Sunday, July 17, 1949, Elder Matthew Cowley made the first prophecy regarding the Tokyo Japan Temple at the dedicatory services for the old Tokyo mission home-the site where the temple now stands. Elder Harrison Ted Price, a missionary serving in the Northern Far East Mission, recorded in his journal: "In this prayer, he told of countless blessings from the Lord that have been enjoyed here to date, and went on to prophesy-"there will someday be many church buildings-and even TEMPLES built in the land." To me this is kind of surprising because a Christian church built this temple. Kind of rare because Christians mainly build meeting houses and cathederals and mostly Budhists and Shintos build shrines and temples. It cost me $50 to get in there for a tour of its history.
I later went to the movies and saw a japanese action movie even though I did not understand what it was talking about at all since I don't speak Japanese. Well I'm gonna get some shut-eye now so don't let the bed bugs bite....
