Well there was a month for you... Not to mention the last week up until this morning. As I sailed off into the air at several thousand feet in a nice aluminium tube, I was a little disappointed that all my 'business' attachments held on. I will be spending this week with Granny A, slowing my life down and washing my hands of my old, materialistic life.
Thanks everyone for your kind words, for being there for me, for helping become the person I am today. Thank you all for letting me know that I will be missed (although that is a weight on my shoulders as it is), and for putting up with my crap as a broken human being. I love you all, and will keep you in my thoughts.
On a lighter note, I have sucessfully escaped Alberta's winter, and expect not to see anymore snow at foot level until I hit Nepal. B.C. is drizzly, but not nipply like the last week in Edmonton. I shall forthwith have five summers in a row!
Erika, on the travel journal you gave me, a line reads: "This journal documents the trip to __________." I wrote in: "That which is not Alberta." :)
Incidentally, I don't dislike Alberta, I just need a break from the speed and weather.
On-on, MacK
