Day 235 ;

Crazily early start but surprisingly all quite cheery, as soon as we were up we were out the door, walked to the end of the road and got a taxi to the airport, only had to tell the driver which airline and he knew which terminal, Budget terminal nothing says cheap scates quite like that!
Had to pay extra for our luggage which was a bit annoying but didn't charge any extra as both Phil and Lauren were over by a few kg which should have been an extra 10pounds per kg!! and the nice lady gave us the exit seats so it was going to be spacious.
Time flew by (excuse pun) boarded the plane only to all have to get off again as it didn't start, eventually got going a few hours later than we had meant to.
Flight was fine got some free peanuts which is always good, and the landing was far better than on airasia.
Me and Lauren got quized at the immigration, Phil however just smiled and ended up with the one nice girl, its the first place we have been asked questions so was a little strange.

So... Finally had our feet on Indonesian ground!!!!
People seem friendly, more so than Malaysia if that's possible, and its also more like India than Malaysia was, so, in theory, we should enjoy it as much as we did in Malaysia, if not more!!

Got out and caught the bus to the centre, then all climbed into the worlds smallest tuk tuk so all well and truely squished, went to some road we had got out the lonely planet book at the airport, yes we just write down some stuff and put the book back!
Phil walked round for what felt like hours, we had some kids banging drums next to us for the duration of that time, couldn't have come back soon enough.
Went to some place quite close, its nothing to shout about but has everything we need for one night.

Had some proper good food from the hotel restaurant, cheap, and some of the best we've had in a while, also getting to try some of the local foods, the mie goreng were great, the nasi was great and the roti gulung isi ayam were...great. good stuff. HBO on the box and rocky 2,3 & 4.... Back to back rocky!!!!!
