Day 216;

Woke up and it was tipping it down and had some thunder and lightning, a bit of thunder that shook our little hut which was kinda cool, it didn't last long and seemed to pass as quickly as it had came, we went and got some breakfast which was well needed as last nights meals was rubbish, the weather was still miserable so chilled out in the room for pretty much most of the day.

Late afternoon we made a move to go see a beach Phil had walked to and past yesterday afternoon, so we all walked through to coral beach and then along a path which leads to another beach but in the middle there is a beach that we have decided it almost close to the perfect beach, there is no huts, no rooms no ugly concrete blocks or restaurants, it has clear blue sea and is deserted, the only thing we marked it down on was the sand it had a lot of coral so not to comfy under the old feet - and yes we are allowed to be that pedantic, we've seen a lot of beaches and we are on the search for the A* beach so we have to be picky.

I'm pretty happy that we have at last found a beach that would be called perfect, well in our minds anyways, so very happy people!

Watched the sunset which was nice but still a bit cloudy, headed back to coral beach thought we might have some dinner there but the smell was horrendous, so carried on walking and noticed why the place smelt so bad, big area filled with yellow/brown foam water with rubbish in it too, gross!

Went back to long beach sat down at one of the few restaurants they have and they said they were not severing for half an hour or so [Ramadan] we waited for ages and it started getting really busy and the waiter went to a few of the other tables first so we upped and left, the food is not that great and considering we had already sat there for ages we knew the wait would get worse, went to ours for dinner, ordered a mish mash of rice curry and pasta, all shared and it was really good, knew it would be - home cooked family run, surprise surprise, the curry and the nasi goreng we had were amazing. so went to bed with very satisfied bellies!
