Day 124;

Up bright and early cockrels going, people hammering nails into something, children screaming, speakers blearing out something so people give the monks money, it all seems to kick off at around 5 in the morning!

Had a lovely breakfast fried egg sandwich! Yum Yum we don't usually have it so it was a nice treat, got our bus booked to take us on, got some awful mountain bikes, awful mean they looked ok but don't have any suspension and the seat was as hard as a hard thing!

Off we went on our painful bikes in the hope of finding the "blue lagoon", down the most bumpiest road ever, how we managed to stay on the bike I don't know, after about an hour we arrived at the blue lagoon, sounds nice doesn't it, we looked and saw no blue lagoon what we did find was a grey-green river, this was it? After much debating we did go in well I dipped and got out just for the sake if being cool for a few seconds, then as I got out to go sit down some strange Lao boy came over a bit too close for my liking making stupid noises at me and breathing ridiculously heavy, shorts and top straight back on and move away! He was a guide to the cave opposite, as me and Phil both discussed you would have to be either crazy or stupid to go anywhere with him.

Phil after much encouragement finally did the swing into the water which I just wanted to see for my own personal amusement, ha ha ha! We have a full documented video it took nearly 4 minutes for him to put the girl in him away and come out as a 15 year old boy, "is it deep enough, do u think there is a crocodile in there" I'm mean I know, it was funny though!

[You'll notice with all the name calling there, that Claire has quite nicely glossed over the fact that she didn't and wouldn't do it - because of a cut on her hand...uh huh, yes a cut, of course that's the reason.....!!!!!]

After being there for all of 20mins we made a move back down the bumpy road, we didn't do the cave opposite which now after looking in the book would have been a good one, we ended up going to another cave further on, we went in on our own this one although tourist come here it is not designed around tourists like the one we did yesterday, a little scary at points, especially when Phil spots the biggest spider you have ever seen, I had gone past it and not even noticed it, after some words Phil also went past it, I only wanted him to come down so I didn't have to go past it on my own, but Phil knows this he knows how my mind works, if I'm getting bitten so are you! I got freaked out by a stone, looked like a person in torch light, after scaring ourselves we made our way out, sweating profusely! We are so super attractive at the mo, always sweaty and mud covered!

Returned to the restaurant by the river for a coke and cool down it seems to be the only place the wind blows, got back around half two and took the bikes back, 5 hours on an uncomfortable bike and bumpy roads makes four pairs on sore legs and two sore butts! Well worth the pain though.

Spent the rest of the day chilling as it seems that the duracell bunny has finally been worn down! Even complained for the first time that his legs too ached! At last its not just me.
