Day 43 ;

Last night was full moon... party??? oh Yeh!!

Well, a beach party for the dogs at least..

You have never heard anything like it!! between 1am and 5am, I woke up at one thirty, three, half past four, six and seven and Claire at every other time in-between and the dogs were going mad! Barking, howling, screeching...seriously! and it wasn't just one or two, sounded like every dog within a mile radius had got tickets!

Something about the full moon definitely sent them a bit barmy.

After talking the other night, and seeing how far we were able to get, we have decided to add a couple more stops to the list, Hampi in Karnataka is supposed to be beautiful, everyone we have met has recommended so seems like a good idea, and when we get further up north NEPAL!!!

Easy enough to do from where we are, head to Margao (Madgaon) from there direct overnight sleeper bus to Hampi..

Welcome back to India, stifling heat, horns and lots of bodies, booked our tickets just outside the Kadamba-Ktc bus stand and walked the three km back into,hot.

Wandered around but strangely nearly everything was shut, not found that anywhere else on a Sunday, and bought noodles, Bourbons and Bombay mix for dinner, to go with bread and butter and some chocolate treats!!

Got to try some things in the bakery which was nice too, see, you do meet them now and then..

Bit of a sobering comparison to the way we felt about being hassled was the view out of our room at night, men all laid on the concrete floor with numbers above there heads allocating there space approx 800mm wide so quite a few in a small space!
