We got to Krabi, arriving at an out of town bus station and expecting a full on hustle by the agents to get us into town and in abed. As it turned out they were helpful and got us into a hotel for cheap with a free taxi. We only stayed in Krabi for a couple of days because, although it's touted as a resort in itself, its actually a convenient spot to get to many of the surrounding beaches and islands, consequently this entry itsnt the rip roaring, lootin' and pillagin' escapades I know you like to hear about. No. Basically all we did was go to Railay Beach, a pretty stunning beach, surrounded by limestone karsts (remember them? theyre cliffs for you laypeople) which give it a dramatic feeling and overpriced resorts, which give it a bit of a poncy feeling. Nevertheless it was a really nice beach and surprisingly not that busy, although it was pretty expensive and not somewhere you'd stay for that long.
So we didn't.
End of entry told you it wasnt that good More thumbnails ...
